Would there even be a USA without the guns?

guns were used to kill the native people in the Americas and to steal their land. guns are now used to kill each other in the USA. guns are used by US troops to terrorise the world.

I'm curious, from which eminent nation do you hail? One with no history of oppression, imperialism or land wars, I assume. One that uses no firepower, I gather, because otherwise you're blowing more hot air than a desert evening in August.
