Taking the guns of innocent people won't create less crime; it will just damage a industry and strip people of a way to protect their home.

A criminal will find a way to get a weapon.

As long as the person is sane of mind and cares/stores for their weapon properly; I don't see the problem.

@workathome An AR-15 is quite effective for home defense. But its primary purpose is not home defense you are right. It is in defense of freedom and liberty against tyranny. That is what the Second Amendment stands for. In the case that the government is out of control the people can resist. We hope that this does not happen but it is the reasoning behind the second amendment. That one can protect themselves from tyranny and from evil men.
