I've been reading so much about abuse in those subsidies! Even multi millionaire rock stars were getting millions of dollars in covid cash!

Insane!

Obamacare doesn't expire at the end of 2025. The TEMPORARY enhanced subsidies provided during the Biden covid years do. They were enacted as a pandemic relief measure, not as a structural expansion of the Affordable Care Act. People are afraid they'll spend close to what I am paying for my employees health insurance. Heaven forbid. No one complained when my healthcare went from $1,090 per month with a $2,500 deductible to $2,430 per month and a $10k deductible. Obamacare was never affordable from day one. So now, the premium rates go back to pre-pandemic levels instead of these subsidies.

Obamacare works or it doesn't. We shouldn't be subsidizing insurance companies. Create the level of competition that previously existed and rates will come down for everyone.

We can only hope it goes away.
