I Hate Obamacare

Here I go again. The problems never seem to end with this program.

People are penalized for not having insurance yet the average person could never, ever figure out the program.

i have my masters in insurance, maybe the other kind, but i am constantly battling this monster.

My brother was given a credit and now they take it away. They gave him a BIGGER credit this year and now we are receiving threatening letters demanding more information but they don't tell us what is needed. It is entrapment.

I sent in so many payroll docs, it cost me almost 4.00 to send yet they shredded it. Since they are questioning his income, i have to resend not only this years but last.

the letters state to call the Marketplace yet those yahoos can't answer any questions at all AFTER being on the phone with them for 45 minutes at a shot.

I honestly have had enough.

Is the problem Obama care or is it all the restrictions to it imposed by the Republicans? From Europe the idea that there is no easy access to health care for low income citizens seems such an aberration.

the plan is flawed. and that was done by the democrats. it is a snowball waiting to happen and there will be a huge collapse which will affect more than the low income people...it affects the retirees, the insured, everyone. it came with all kinds of hidden agendas and caveats...yet the insurance company said it is not making money...
MrSquishy
Then maybe it should be fixed...

no maybe, it should!

This is a complete democrat plan! Stop trying to blame Republicans for this disaster!
MrSquishy
If I remember well the original plan had to be seriously revised to be accepted by Republican senators wasn't it?
experienceman11
It's not their plan. This is all Obama and the Dems! Bohner was a rino Obama kiss ass.
MrSquishy
I didn't say it wasn't a democrat plan, I just say it was voted by the US congress and it had to be seriously modified to satisfy Republican senators. Maybe those modifications are part of the problem.
akindheart · 61-69, F
it was initiated by Clinton back in his days and it failed. Obama pushed it through flaws an all. i just found out from the marketplace that if I fail to report his changes, I can be held responsible...how is that happening?????
akindheart · 61-69, F
it was ramrodded through...Obama was reelected for the most part due to this plan...bet those who voted for him aren't as happy as they thought they would be

The whole plan is the problem. Forcing people to purchase something and then charging them more so others can get it free is sleazy and unconstitutional. The republicans never saw the whole final plan. Which is why none of them are supporting it. Remember "we have to pass it to see whats in it"? What changes did the republicans insist on? Do you even know?

All I know is that there are quite a few countries in the world who have public healthcare and very few people would even consider questioning the benefits it.
It is paid by everyone proportionally to their earnings. It is accessible to those who are homeless or jobless.
You guys spend millions building mega churches and at the same time can't see the benefits for society of universal public healthcare.
MrSquishy
I think there is to much interference of pharmaceutical and insurance lobbies in the US politics. It is democracy of the wallet.
hosedsailorboy
Actually that's incorrect. Both the House and Senate had the majority and Reps didn't hold up anything. That's why it was reamed through before the midterm election when Dems knew they were going to lose one or both of the majority spots. Pelosi was steaming on "We have to pass the bill to see what's in it!"... WHAT KIND OF LUNACY IS THAT?
