I Own a Gun [Gun Ownership]

I Bought A Gun... I want this gun to be an extension of my hand..I want to feel so comfortable that when I am forced to pull the trigger, the party on the other end knows I mean business.

I have to admit it was a little intimidating..walking into what seemed like the all male club..I I quickly got over that. The men in the aisle actually parted as i walked by..i guess I looked like I meant business.
I tried the 9MM Glock.  that is a powerful gun..make no mistake on that one..but the grip was short and  thick.  the salesman said because it helda  larger magazine..that will be my next gun.
I had pretty much made up my mind..I bought the Ruger LCP for a great price. .He was a little surprised i was so decisive.   he recommended the ruger revolver. I stuck to my original choice..
What is so amazing is I did not second guess myself..Thanks for my EP friends, I had done my research and this seemed to be the best one for me..It actually looks like a toy gun..We have a 5 day waiting period here and then I take a class in april..

P.S. if you are looking for a man, forget Home Depot..this is the place!

My personal favorite is the Kimber 1911. But at this point because of what I know of real violence a gun is not about self defense, nor should it ever be used for intimidation. The only time is should ever come out is because you are going to pull the trigger with the intent of murdering someone. Period. Yes it may be a situation of your life verses someone else's but a gun is still just for killing.

my aerobics instructor bought the kimber..what i did was ask several people's opinion and they all mentioned the ruger...I agree with you about the purpose of the gun. I live in an dangerous area..

My next gun will be the FN 5.7. I have had the kimber since I was 21. For me personally I know enough about who to tear someone apart with my hands that I would rather go that route specifically because then I can still leave them alive even if with 4 broken limbs, no eyes, and ruptured testicles. but if I have no choice but to take it further I can also do that.

i do not have that brute strength or knowledge...but i want someone to know that if they enter my home, i mean business...i live in the wild west down here..

certainly understandable. I deal with body weight strikes and debilitating targeted injury. brute strength honestly is never a factor. www.targetfocustraining.com.
