I Own a Gun [Gun Ownership]

I Bought A Gun... I want this gun to be an extension of my hand..I want to feel so comfortable that when I am forced to pull the trigger, the party on the other end knows I mean business.

I have to admit it was a little intimidating..walking into what seemed like the all male club..I I quickly got over that. The men in the aisle actually parted as i walked by..i guess I looked like I meant business.
I tried the 9MM Glock.  that is a powerful gun..make no mistake on that one..but the grip was short and  thick.  the salesman said because it helda  larger magazine..that will be my next gun.
I had pretty much made up my mind..I bought the Ruger LCP for a great price. .He was a little surprised i was so decisive.   he recommended the ruger revolver. I stuck to my original choice..
What is so amazing is I did not second guess myself..Thanks for my EP friends, I had done my research and this seemed to be the best one for me..It actually looks like a toy gun..We have a 5 day waiting period here and then I take a class in april..

P.S. if you are looking for a man, forget Home Depot..this is the place!

How often do you go to the range? Shooting a box of shells is relaxing.

I have owned this gun for over 2 years, went thru the concealed weapon permit and have never shot the gun yet...sad huh?

Hun, find a local Tactical Shooting training group who trains w/ paintball AND live fire training methods, and go to a few courses. ESPECIALLY a low light course since the most likely situation in which you'll shoot will be darkness or low light conditions. Then,

*sorry missfired ;)
...then get ypir self to the range and shoot, shoot, shoot.

The most ideal situation in which to learn to use a gun is NOT; 2AM, half asleep, adrinalin amped through the roof , facing a threat that wants to do you harm and who and who probably has you out guned. ( if you are gpoing to drop a big boy you are going to have to hit your mark with a couple rounds at least, using that 380 )
