I Own a Gun [Gun Ownership]

I Bought A Gun... I want this gun to be an extension of my hand..I want to feel so comfortable that when I am forced to pull the trigger, the party on the other end knows I mean business.

I have to admit it was a little intimidating..walking into what seemed like the all male club..I I quickly got over that. The men in the aisle actually parted as i walked by..i guess I looked like I meant business.
I tried the 9MM Glock.  that is a powerful gun..make no mistake on that one..but the grip was short and  thick.  the salesman said because it helda  larger magazine..that will be my next gun.
I had pretty much made up my mind..I bought the Ruger LCP for a great price. .He was a little surprised i was so decisive.   he recommended the ruger revolver. I stuck to my original choice..
What is so amazing is I did not second guess myself..Thanks for my EP friends, I had done my research and this seemed to be the best one for me..It actually looks like a toy gun..We have a 5 day waiting period here and then I take a class in april..

P.S. if you are looking for a man, forget Home Depot..this is the place!

Over the weekend a retired LEO told me that Kel-Tecs and other tiny pocket guns like the LCP are more of a "Get off me gun" than anything else. If you really want accuracy or the ability to fire from any distance, you'd probably need something larger, at least as large as a Glock 26, if you like 9mm or my personal favorite, a G30 in .45 :) or a G27 in .40. So sue me, I like Glocks. They're ultra-reliable. :)

you know, i tried the Glock in my hand (which is quite small) but i liked the feel of it. i was just afraid i would drop it which would do me no good, right?

Funny thing about the Glocks. They have 3 built-in safeties. One to keep it from firing if you drop it, so don't fret, unless you happen to drop it on concrete, especially from more than a few feet.
