The supreme court has struck down the federal ban on bump stocks as of 6/14/24

I can only surmise that supreme court justices have been bribed by the gun industry. For shame.
Bump stocks effectively turn semi-auto rifles into full auto weapons. In 2017 the insane Vas Vegas shooter used these devices to kill 60 and wound 400 people at a music festival.

Bump stocks have NOTHING to do with home/personal protection. The only use for such devices is for mass shootings and criminals. Call/write your congress people and demand the ban on bump stocks be reinstated.

I wonder why I'm not allowed to walk into any court room, or Congress, or the Supreme Court with a loaded semi automatic weapon? What are they afraid of?

@independentone Being murdered?
@badminton I wonder why they would think that, maybe people are there to protect them!

Apparently automatic weapons should only be allowed in middle schools. They need somewhere to send all those thoughts and prayers

@independentone To Paraphrase "V for Vendetta" " People should not be afraid of the
government. Government SHOULD be afraid of the people"😷

@whowasthatmaskedman incompetent or corrupt gov't should be afraid of being voted out of office or facing legal charges, NOT being murdered.

@badminton I agree. But under the US system there dont seem to have much to fear from the electorate or the courts. Those are for the rest of the people..😷

@independentone I wouldn't want to be in a courtroom if someone walked in with an unloaded firearm.
