Just saw a Desantis campaign ad where Trump is shown siding with the Democrats on gun control. That's not a good look for Trump! We need a leader who will defend the second amendment

@Stargazer89 a CBS News video? Beware of the source. And if you dig deeper, you'll conclude the libs in the video were promoting false hope. They were intentionally vague, twisted words, took things out of context and inserted their own conjecture. I've followed Trump's position on gun control closely enough, and there are two things that made me take a step back. The first was the bump stock ban...something I kind of understand after Las Vegas. Where I had a real issue with Trump regarding gun control was his position on red flag laws. His statement came right after a couple of mass shootings and he reasonably questioned the mental health of these shooters. Perhaps he hadn't consider red flag laws violate the 2nd, 4th, 5th & 14th amendments. Never heard him push for red flags laws after that. That's not exactly siding with democrats on gun control.
