More states are pushing for stronger gun control initiatives 😑

This stuff really gets a prolonged sigh out of me. I hate guns and I hate gun violence as much as anyone, but I simply cannot support something that I don't believe works and ever will. Start pushing for things like holding the media accountable for how they report on mass shootings, I'll be right on top of that any day! But I firmly believe we're long past the point of new gun regulations and stricter background checks making any real difference.

I agree. The people who have no shame in holding any number of unnecessary arms aren't going to be shamed. Those who need to feel safer in their life won't listen to any statistic telling them they're misled. And those who substitute the perceived power of a gun for their...shortcomings...aren't going to hand that security over.

The way to stop shootings is to PREVENT shootings. They very best way in the world to do that is to restrict guns and ammo. Period. It's not caliculus.
