Man allegedly threatened to ‘kill kids,’ blow up Kansas City’s Worlds of Fun last Sunday

Bill Lukitsch, The Kansas City Star, June 15, 2022

"A 59-year old man is facing a felony charge after he allegedly threatened to use explosives, kill children and “have a Texas style shooting” aimed at Kansas City amusement park Worlds of Fun on Sunday."

This why we need gun control laws - To keep hateful madmen like this from having access to guns.
Gun nuts complain gun control laws are inconvenient for them:
Too damn bad. Zero sympathy.
They should be thinking about the lives of children and civilians.

Wait, what?

This why we need gun control laws

It was a crazy man that made the threat, right?
Did his gun make any threats?

Thank goodness this whack-a-doodle was noticed and confined before HE did something awful.

This is an example of why whack-a-doodles need to be confined.
Not and reason for gun control.

@Budwick I seem to recall Salvador Ramos posted numerous threats online about what he was going to do.

He was a crazy man, with many guns, that made the threat.

It's a pity that this whack-a-doodle wasn't confined before he did something awful.

That is a reason for gun control.

@SW-User Here's the thing.
Not confining crazy people can be fixed with out amending the Constitution.
Taking guns from law abiding citizens means they can't defend them selves against crazy people!
SW-User
@Budwick Salvador Ramos was not a law-abiding citizen. His guns should have been taken away.

@SW-User When they lock him up, they can take his guns at the same time.

Of course, he's dead now.
So, great planning on your part Sam!

@Budwick Note my use of the past tense. Never mind, I daresay you'll be blaming me for Uvalde.

@SW-User I'm sorry Sam - it was a cheap shot.
But, you can be very contrary to common sense.
I gotta go soon anyway.
Have a good evening.
@SW-User I wonder why we didn’t really hear much about Mr.,Ramos after he was allegedly killed.
That whole affair raises more questions than it answers.
He should lose his gun rights not the whole country. @SW-User

@Budwick A person with NO gun won’t kill people.
@SW-User Wasn’t he able, very shortly after turning 18, to “legally” purchase the weapons? That would IMO point to a background check, or not or failure of on some level, which it would appear, he passed. So why would the authorities have had cause to go after him? Much gets put on line but nothing gets done about it. And Ramos is not the only one who posted questionable stuff.
@justanothername You ever heard of a place called Boston or Waukesha? No guns there. People died, aka “ killed”.

@justanothername Did you miss the part where someone was threatening to blow some people up?

No argument there.
Taking MY guns away doesn't resolve the problem, does it?

If Ramos and other mentally unstable persons are confined of course they don't have access to weapons. And, law abiding citizens still have their 2nd amendment.

It's not really complicated.

A person with NO gun won’t kill people.

On November 21, 2021, the driver of a sport utility vehicle killed six people and injured sixty-two others by hitting participants and observers at the annual Christmas parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin,
