Man allegedly threatened to ‘kill kids,’ blow up Kansas City’s Worlds of Fun last Sunday

Bill Lukitsch, The Kansas City Star, June 15, 2022

"A 59-year old man is facing a felony charge after he allegedly threatened to use explosives, kill children and “have a Texas style shooting” aimed at Kansas City amusement park Worlds of Fun on Sunday."

This why we need gun control laws - To keep hateful madmen like this from having access to guns.
Gun nuts complain gun control laws are inconvenient for them:
Too damn bad. Zero sympathy.
They should be thinking about the lives of children and civilians.

Wait, what?

This why we need gun control laws

It was a crazy man that made the threat, right?
Did his gun make any threats?

Thank goodness this whack-a-doodle was noticed and confined before HE did something awful.

This is an example of why whack-a-doodles need to be confined.
Not and reason for gun control.

Salvador Ramos was not a law-abiding citizen. His guns should have been taken away.

No argument there.
Taking MY guns away doesn't resolve the problem, does it?

If Ramos and other mentally unstable persons are confined of course they don't have access to weapons. And, law abiding citizens still have their 2nd amendment.

It's not really complicated.

A person with NO gun won’t kill people.

On November 21, 2021, the driver of a sport utility vehicle killed six people and injured sixty-two others by hitting participants and observers at the annual Christmas parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin,

@Budwick libs buried that story quick too
Let’s say this man carried out his threat successfully. Very possible if he was able to use explosives, he may well have taken many more lives than by gunfire. And he might have only used a gun in a possible engagement with law enforcement.
Didn’t he also make a remark to hotel staff that he had an issue with his meds?
Possibly this is more a cry for help, given he stated his intentions.
I’m not defending him, but am pointing out a few possibilities.
If you haven't noticed, there are thousands of gun control laws on the books already. But hey...go ahead and push the narrative as if gun laws don't already exist. Per the FBI, 90% of firearm homicides are committed by felons. It's illegal for felons to be in possession of firearms. It's as if criminals don't obey the law. 🙄 Crazy people aren't gonna obey the law either.

So, what's the badminton solution? Do more of the thing that doesn't work. Fookin' brilliant.
Problem is we HAVE gun control laws. And they don’t work. Facts

Sounds like a mental health emergency with advanced notice.

But they arent... And this is why Americans need to be isolated from normal people.. What constitutes "Normal" in this case? Enough desire to keep yourself and your loved ones safe that you are willing to leave the country.. Once thats done we put a fence around whats left and let them sort it out..😷

Much as I hate to say it, I think another horrific tragedy has been avoided by common sense.
