Would US gun control be more likely if...

..the media didn't censor and sanitize mass shootings to avoid "disturbing" viewers. What we see is clean, routine outside shots of police and others walking around the scene, blurred images (if any) of victims, etc., when the reality of today is made up of the screams of terrified children and adults, the bullet-savaged bodies of 18 children lying in pools of their own blood and their classmates' blood on school floors, the pain of the survivors being rushed to hospital. A mass shooting is a horror and we should be forced to confront that horror and not allow it to be hidden from view to prevent America from being "upset" by reality. :'(

@justanothername isn't if funny (funny strange/funny weird) that they seem to happen after one major mass shooting. Like okay, its my turn to make the news? Or is it a leftist agenda? More mass shootings fit their anti-gun/gun ban agenda?

@Montanaman news’s gets reported regardless of who did what to who but with social media it’s all about “ me too”
That guy did that so let’s do one bigger and go viral. We have been having shopping mall ram raids by teenagers all recording themselves and uploading it to TikTok so that others can follow and do the same. It’s about bravado and notoriety more than anything else. Social media has just enabled to to be broadcast sooner and faster to a bigger market and as a result news stations run with it because it’s news.
