The state can’t protect you. The school is a gun free zone and yet the bad guy came in.

Mexico has only one gun store in the country located at Mexico City yet it is overrun by cartels and gun violence. Only law abiding citizens can’t defend themselves @Darksideinthenight2

@Darksideinthenight2 I don’t see why. Mexico does not have a second amendment which means they can’t bare arms, yet bad people will always get a hold of them.

They do have laws and a constitution. Also, not everyone can buy a gun. In Texas you can’t legally get a handgun until you’re 21. Convicted felons can’t purchase firearms. You cannot legally buy firearms for sometime else. You must pass the background check. Plus, other states have so many restrictions it’s nearly impossible to legally buy one @Darksideinthenight2

@Darksideinthenight2 You forget that the ATF regulates licensed vendors. It is a felony to sell anything that they see as violation of their policy and they will prosecute.

Besides, you just proved my point that people in black markets doing illegal dealings will always exist even with stricter gun control.

@Secrettoacurtsy California, my state, makes it harder to get a handgun than other states. Does not impede someone with evil in their heart from carrying out bad actions.

@Darksideinthenight2 Gun control is hitting your target. You must want more violence and death because that would be the inevitable result if guns were banned. Only the criminals would be armed while their victims helplessly wait to die.
