based on what i've seen in my life, and from those in my life killed or harmed by firearms--
-- it would all be a non-issue if gun owners and enthusiasts mentored and intervened regarding irresponsible gun use and ownership.
it almost seems that since gun control is a political possibility, any and all nonsense regarding guns has to be tolerated-- or else we're sliding towards gun control.
this gun violence didn't happen when i was a kid. and we were gunned up AF. i can attribute that to all sorts of social and political things. but one thing is or sure, if i fucked around with a gun, my father would have broken my jaw and proceeded to beat me within an inch of my life.
so there's that.
