Why didn't President Obama pass any gun control legislation?

The same reason he didn't get a final Supreme Court Justice appointment! Lots of things that he wanted to get through the legislature were blocked by the republicans, the original party of obstruction. Mitch McConnell announced after Obama won his second term, that it was his goal to prevent any of Obama-supported legislation to be passed by "his senate."

@samueltyler2 Sorry but the facts do not support your excuse for him. They could have shoved a lot more than obammycare down our throats if they had wanted to. The fact is, they didn't want to.

@samueltyler2 Republicans can't obstruct Obama at every junction and then complain that he got nothing done. Oh wait, they can.

@Graylight like the democrats of today?
Graylight · 51-55, F
@MasterLee They've never stated their top priority to preventing the president from accomplishing anything.

Congress is still Republican controlled; they're the ones pulling the strings here. But good try.

@MasterLee You disagree...or you simply don't have an answer?
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@Graylight oh I disagree with most of what you say but I don't want to trigger you.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@MasterLee It takes considerably greater talent to trigger me.

@Graylight great. Too tired to fight with you or try to educate you tonight. Good luck.
