I Want Major Gun Control In the Usa

Boys And Their Toys... I just posted a reply to a question which beggars belief. It was posted on EP by an ex-cop who claimed to have secret info on the Newtown massacre. He used the fact that the AR15 assault rifle was not used by the killer as a reason for opposing gun control on assault rifles. So presumably the fact that most kids were killed by a bushmaster rifle or various handguns is completely acceptable to him. God bless America!

Any kind of gun ban wouldn't have helped. You see, Adam didn't own those guns. He WAS banned from owning guns. But gun bans only effect the people who follow the law, not the ones that steal and use them.

Indeed! Humans NEED the following...air, water, food, shelter...a few require medicine, and that' sabot it. Outside of those things listed, humans don't actually need anything else. Imagine a world in which gov't. dictates our behavior based on what someone else thinks we need. And sadly, we seem to be heading in that direction.

Only a Criminal can make a Gun, an Assault Weapon. A Law abiding citizen owns only Defense Weapons, to protect themselves against Liberal Criminals.

I haven't seen the question to which you refer, but I also question what weapon was actually used in the killing. The initial news report from, I believe CBS, stated that they had confirmation from MULTIPLE authorities that Lanza had used a hand gun...specifically a 9mm and a 10mm in the shooting. Then the story changed from using the hand guns to using the Bushmaster. How did multiple authorities get that particular detail so wrong? It doesn't take a gun expert to distinguish between the shell casings of 9mm and 10mm round from those of a .223 or 5.56mm. Rahm Emmanuel liked to use an old phrase, never let a crisis go to waste. I'm not saying Sandy Hook was a hoax, but it does seem plausible that the horrific event, which has been heavily politicized, may have had certain details "modified" to suit the ant-assault weapon agenda. Just sayin'...

Guns in the hands of Responsible people are the assistive devise to save oneself from Crime.
Guns in the hands of Criminals are Assault Weapons. And the Law does nothing to stop the Criminal for owning Assault Weapons, they invariably arrest and Jail the Responsible person, instead of the Criminal, for violating Gun Control Laws. This is outrageous, and a Betrayal of the Responsible Citizens of all Nations. Government is not a Power to Control the People or Things, it is their Duty to protect our Rights and our Activities. This Government has a Clear Agenda, since it has become more Communist, to Enslave us through Taxation and License, and Regulations and Unconstitutional Laws and Corrupt Officials who create Fiat with their Intentions.

This must stop.
