@carpediem Do you know what a straw man arguement is? It's when you invent a position that you claim your opposition has and then argue against the position. Just thought you should know.

@RosaMarie Believe whatever you want. We're not adding another trillion dollars in new spending to placate the democrats on a simple continuing resolution. The polls are showing people are sick of this type of blackmail. This CR was passed by the House. It's time to stop with the politics and do the right thing.

I don't disagree that spending needs to be brought in line. No one is proposing spending any of that money on health care for illegals.

@RosaMarie They are insisting on restoring access to federal healthcare funding for certain immigrants in the "lawfully present" category. Looks like a game of words to me. I don't support that and that is where my comment came from. So call it what you will. But factually incorrect is again, a play on words.

I think overall we are in agreement that increasing spending by a trillion dollars is a non-starter. Or is that in question too?
