They knew who he was.

@fanuc2013 He was wearing a polo shirt that identified him as a US senator. He verbally identified himself as a US senator. It did him no good. They still escorted him out of the room, and then, while he was already being fully cooperative, they tackled him and handcuffed him. But you people love to ignore those facts.

@fanuc2013 Did you watch the video? He clearly identifies himself. Furthermore, he went through the security process and security was the ones who escorted him in.
@SatanBurger Ironically the same people who tackled him when he dared ask the ICE princess a question.
