LAFD and DEI hiring practices

Los Angeles Fire Departmen gave priority to equity and inclusion and now the city is burning under the management of a DEI hire. They went woke and now they don´t even have working fire hydrants.

Boy, How's all the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion working out for you?! Quite honestly, I've been done with it since I saw it for what it was to begin with. If we treated everyone as Individuals to begin with instead of belonging to a certain Group and that they supposedly derive their "Rights" because of that Group, no one would be suffering the unintentional consequences subsequent to this today.

Did anyone honestly and really believe that anything was going to be any different from what Maui Residents suffered the consequences of?! Survey says; No way!

@Broache73 The LA fire chief is a 22 year veteran whose served as a firefighter, paramedic and a Battalion Chief.

What have you done with your life?
BigGuy2 · 31-35, M
@Broache73 i do find it quite offensive to Black people {as this DEI nonsense is aimed at them mainly} ... as it implies they can't make their way in life without positive descrimination
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@BigGuy2 So you think a 22 year veteran whose served as a firefighter and paramedic as well as battalion chief wasn't deserving of it? What experience actually qualifies you in your opinion.

@BigGuy2 So DEI promotes people that shouldn't be in those positions, but the people at the top do deserve to be in those positions, but they don't actually do anything.

Fascinating.

@BohemianBabe WORDS ON A SCREEN 🤪🤪🤪

What you'll find, it that it's the underlings that do all the work {but not if DEI} and the Managers just sign things off, so no hands on, that is a truism no matter what job, industry or whatever around the World

... but then again, these are just WORDS ON A SCREEN ... 🤪🤪🤪
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@BigGuy2 So leading a battalion, being a 22 year veteran and a previous firefighter means that they're not experienced enough for you? Make it make sense.
Broache73 · 51-55, F
@BigGuy2

I certainly find that offensive also to tell the Black Community that we need other People outside our Community to lead and guide us as if we're that gullible or we're too uneducated to do so for ourselves. After all, the Black Community understands how utterly Tone Deaf it is to send Tax Money to a Mafia State aka Ukraine but yet the US's Infrastructure is crumbling around .

The plain fact is very simple, if we had actually competent People from all walks of Life contributing and efficient Agencies, someone would've had the good common sense to strategize how to prepare for Natural Disasters be it Natural or Man Made to start with. They would've set aside and saved the Resources and Money needed for Relief efforts that would've followed in the aftermath.

The Agencies would be efficient in Management and employ People who understood Economics and Infrastructure so Cities and Municipalities could actually train a Workforce to actually build and maintain Local Infrastructure. All we're witnessing is the Second Order consequences of Taxpayers and Consumers reaping what Government has sown.

@Broache73 so true and well said ... but anyone with an ounce of intelligence knows it's a distraction technique:

'Divide and Conquer' ... keep the 'Great Unwashed' {Society} fighting amongst themselves, that way the spotlight won't be placed on them, the true incompetents
@BigGuy2 I must say, you don't sound unhinged and deranged at all. 🤔
BigGuy2 · 31-35, M
@BohemianBabe ... tut tut

🤔 ... those are just 'Words on a Screen' 🤪🤪🤪

A 22 year veteran who served as a firefighter and a paramedic not competent?

What have you done with your life? You haven't answered me.
BigGuy2 · 31-35, M
@SatanBurger 🙄🙄🙄

Have you got this phrase tattoed on your forehead:

A 22 year veteran who served as a firefighter and a paramedic not competent?

@BigGuy2
You got that exactly right, you understand this.

A fair rhetorical question worth asking that no one has an answer for;
How is it that a Bankrupt US Government can justify Wars for Oil and Wars of Aggression on the other side of the World Community, when it doesn't have the Resources to build up its own Country and maintain its own Infrastructure?!
@Broache73 That's not what DEI is. DEI programs are about reaching out to certain populations that were historically shut out from certain industries. This includes people from rural areas, many of whom are white. DEI is about extending an olive branch, saying that this field is now open to anyone who can do the job. It's not about hiring someone just because they're black, queer, female, from a rural town, or whatever.

Also, the reason America is sending money to Ukraine is because if Russia wins the war, they're not going to stop. Putin wants to rebuild the Russian Empire, which means if he isn't stopped at Ukraine, he's going to come for Poland, which is a NATO county. The best thing for everyone in the West is that Ukraine wins.

🤔 ... so, do you headbutt the screen in the hope that this tattoo somehow places the phrase into a comment, or is there another reason why you headbutt the screen

so, do you headbutt the screen in the hope that this tattoo somehow places the phrase into a comment, or is there another reason why you headbutt the screen

You said that they weren't competent because people who are leaders of things always have people do it for them in regards to the fire chief being a leader of a battalion. I merely suggested that being a firefighter and a paramedic previously involves ground work which means getting their hands dirty. You're trying to imply the person isn't competent because they were a leader of something.

Do you not remember your own words?
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@BigGuy2
but to specifically reply to your point, she's high up - no matter what company or service industry your in, at that level, they mainly just sit around and drink coffee, it's the DEI idiots that are running the show

This what you said correct? You repeated this at least a few times.

To which I replied because you keep repeating it, that the fire chief being higher up means they have people do ground work for them. That can't be true if they were a firefighter and a paramedic previously as you have to have experience to get to be higher up, previous ground work experience.

Is this explained better so that you'll understand love?

Good.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@BigGuy2 Also just so it won't get buried, BohemianBabe has a great point:

That's not what DEI is. DEI programs are about reaching out to certain populations that were historically shut out from certain industries. BigGuy2 · 31-35, M
@SatanBurger ... nice try:

Surely DO remember ... 🤪🤪🤪

I wasn't implying that at all, your CONSTANT comment about a 22 year service, as if they are the ONLY person in the Fire Service ... i'll REPEAT what i said, or paraphrase {because obviously i need to make it an even simpler reply for YOU}

... they MAY have been competent when they were actually doing the work, ie firefighting - but once they move up the ranks, they are not doing the FRONTLINE work, they are just sat on their asses drinking coffee, because their underlings are NOW doing the FRONTLINE work
BigGuy2 · 31-35, M
@SatanBurger 🤔 ... you keep thinking that, also keep in your Cloud Cuckoo Land
