We should start by cutting the military budget, currently $858 billion. The military budget is a big get-rich-quick scheme for corrupt defense contractors.
Then a ban on bail-outs and subsides to corporations.
A ban on off-shore tax havens, and other tax dodging schemes used by the wealthy and corporations. And no more tax cuts for the wealthy, EVER!
Take these actions and we will have plenty of money for domestic improvements.

@badminton "no more tax cuts for the wealthy"? Therein lies the rub ...the sole purpose of DOGE is to save money to enable tax cuts for the super wealthy. In the same vein that cutting bureaucracy and regulations are intended to enable billionaire business owners to supercharge their profits.

No more tax cuts for billionaires and corporations.

@specman Much military spending is thievery by corrupt defense contractors over-charging the tax payers. It doesn't go to real defense at all.

That's why we need a yearly audit of defense spending. We need real penalties for over- charging military procurements, jail time and huge fines.

@badminton Boeing needs a waver now because they got caught defrauding the USAF and technically a company convicted of a crime cannot work for DOD. But since there are basically only 3 companies left the USAF basically has no choice but to deal with them.
