@UndercoverBard putting feet on the ground means someone needs to dress up and wave a sign on the corner

@deadgerbil oh boy
@deadgerbil Of course your vote matters. Your vote is your voice and the only way that you can express how you want your country to be ran.
Even though the person who you voted for might not have made it through this time - you never know when that one vote might make all the difference between winning and losing.
It's for that reason that you should always take the time to cast your vote no matter what. At the very least, it still removes the possibility of your paper potentially being used to cast ghost votes if you believe in that sort of conspiracy.

I once made a nasty comment about the (ex) mayor while at the supermarket and then I realized he was behind me..
Idk if that impacted the local government, but maybe he started scrutinizing his wife's social circles for potential affairs 💀

I met the mayor once. She wasn't friendly but I guess her job is hard or whatever.🙄
UndercoverBard · 31-35, M
@Selah they can be so dramatic 🙄

I vote every chance I get, and do a fair amount of research before deciding whom to vote for. (Not just the party but the person too.) But other than that, no.
icedsky · 51-55, M
Does Getting kicked out of a city council meeting count as involved??
UndercoverBard · 31-35, M
@icedsky technically
In fairness, I'm not totally sure the local government is involved with the "local government"...
PicturesOfABetterTomorrow · 41-45, M
Not really. More involved in local community action groups.
I am the local government....
