A lot of the people we call Republicans are actually just old school democrats. What we call democrats are a bunch of communists. Old school Democrat is what Trump is.

You are correct. In fact, I am an Independent voter, and a former Democrat. A friend of mine, who dropped off this site, used to call me an old school "hippie" style liberal. In today's political world, that makes me a Republican. 🤣🤣🤣
