You're the dictator for a day: what's the first law you introduce?

Mine: "Every model of Harley Davidson in the national soil, and every other vehicle that is capable of producing noise beyond a certain decibel threshold, shall be stopped, confiscated and dismantled before the eyes of the owner"

Well, as a matter of fact (and I haven't looked at ALL the state statutes) there is a muffler law pretty much all over the country.

@Reason10 Not mine!
Reason10 · 70-79, M
@Elessar You don't have towns where mufflers are required on cars? Seriously?
Elessar · 31-35, M
@Reason10 They're required, but tuning/modding is a thing, and even though inspections are a thing they're not frequent enough to deter people

@Elessar In two states where I lived, cars could be stopped if their mufflers weren't doing the job. A lot of places have noise ordinances. Of course, this is really a LOCAL concern.

By the way, I'm not a big fan of the Harley Organ Donor Cycles, or the loud noise they make in traffic.
Q. What is the difference between a motorcycle and a vacuum cleaner?
A. The location of the dirtbag.

@Reason10 They absolutely would also here. But checkpoints aren't too frequent and those who are in the scene of modding I guess tell each other which roads they should avoid.
