The Crisis at the US Borders - Compromise in sight but probably will be rejected

The Republican party seems not to want to fix the problem they identified! When does a 'victory' in politics get celebrated? Is getting Trump re-elected more important than solving your country's problems one at a time?

Politics here is ONLY about getting re-elected or getting a party member re-elected. Look at our drug prices - highest in the world. Then look at how much drug companies give to politicians. We’re a joke and it makes me so mad.
@Jill1990 GOOD POINT!

@Jill1990 Drug company's have to charge enormous prices for their drugs to keep the stock holders happy!
I worked for a company that had scientific consultants with Ph.D.'s and also medical doctors in the pharmaceutical industrial. The company did research and consulting on clinical trials on new drugs coming to market for drug manufactures. The consultants would charge their clients between $150 - $450 an hour.
It would piss me off seeing what clients would be charged, knowing that the cost would be passed on to the patients in the end.
@Jimmy2016 Yes, but one consultant's fees were not spread over a few patients.

The crux is

Drug company's have to charge enormous prices for their drugs to keep the stock holders happy!

@SomeMichGuy and they are immune to any regulation because they own the politicians. Thats my problem.

@Jimmy2016 part of that huge cost is going right in the politicians pocket to make sure no regulations are passed to regulate drug prices. Enough about that.
