@SW-User True, but he can still be got rid of. Would we really be able to get rid of an AI prime minister? And who would program it? No, it's really too sinister for words. Supposing that programmer is a eugenicist looking for a way to create a totally compliant, mute, population?

@SW-User It's the ultimate in autocratic rule; who is going to program any mechanism that will mean his /her own distruction once that machine has its own way of thinking? No politician or ruler would take that risk. But it's a wet dream for any despot to rid themselves of any opposition. And not just in China, either.
