The rising cost of education has nothing to do with politics; believe it or not, little really does.
Rising administrative costs and salaries derive much of it. Schools are constantly updating and acquiring technology. And people are greedy. A University head should not make a million dollar salary.

@Graylight It also has to do with predatory lending and the government fully guarantees payment on these loans, therefore the lenders have nothing to lose. In the long run, the government will come after the students one way or the other. The lenders and schools have zero accountability. The school gets paid off the top, they don't care whether the student past or fails or whether the loan is paid back. It's not their problem.
