I just checked my social security statement and ….

It says that they overpaid me almost $5,000 and they want their money back! Wtf? How does something like that even happen? I don’t have money like that to give them for their mistakes! There was some kind of a waiver thing I could fill out to hopefully get them to waive it so I will do that.
Has this happened to anyone else here?

@cherokeepatti I don’t get social security-I’m only 58 years old. I was on disability over 20 years ago though, for one year and I think this is where this is coming from.
