No, but evidently many do, or they wouldn't vote far-authoritarian/right, expecting their "strong leader" to "fix" the country for them
revenant · F
@Elessar AI can do that better right ?
Elessar · 26-30, M
@revenant AI capable of governing exist only in movies at this point in time, (un?)fortunately
revenant · F
@Elessar yet you believe
Elessar · 26-30, M
@revenant What? I've never voted for authoritarians' "strong leaders" in my lifetime.
revenant · F
@Elessar the Biden type is not your thing ?
Elessar · 26-30, M
@revenant No. He's a compromise and nobody sane of mind ever proclaimed him as the one who would've fixed every issue in the country.

On the contrary, the opposition campaigns on "make America great again", so go figure which is the party trying to portray themselves as the "remedy", and who are the lunatics falling for it lol
revenant · F
@Elessar so..give me a name ?
Elessar · 26-30, M
@revenant A name of what?
revenant · F
@Elessar somebody YOU would like as leader
Elessar · 26-30, M
@revenant No one. As I said, I'm not an authoritarian lunatic with an adoration complex for (and the urge to have) a leader.
revenant · F
@Elessar so AI it is
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@revenant Al? Isn't it amazing that those who proclaim the desires for a free society seem to be the ones who adore leaders who tend to be authoritarian? Others seem to want no government, aka anarchy. I would rather have leaders that work for the betterment of society, right now, they tend to be labelled progressives or liberals, while the conservative parties used to be more structurally related to good government, they are no we the deconstructionists.
revenant · F
@samueltyler2 people are so pesky and fallible...AI it is
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@revenant what is Al?
revenant · F
@samueltyler2 artificial intelligence
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@revenant oh, would you really want that to rule? I hope you are joking!
revenant · F
@samueltyler2 it is your Future ET talking.
revenant · F
@samueltyler2 I know someone who think it would be the perfect solution
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@revenant that is frightening.
revenant · F
@samueltyler2 If we end up part machines ourselves, the world will be a better place
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@revenant you read/was ch too much science fiction.
revenant · F
@samueltyler2 my son reads a LOT. Psychology, ethics, computer science you name it..He came up with that conclusion
Elessar · 26-30, M
@revenant No, no "leader". I vote for "representatives", not "leaders". Is it that difficult to understand? For someone who makes a post complaining about those who expect to be "led" by the government no less?
revenant · F
@Elessar very difficult to understand actually. Who would be those representatives and who would they represent and how would they get on ?
Elessar · 26-30, M
@revenant Perhaps you should work on your false expectation that the government will "lead" you out of all your ills then. Ironic that you've made this post maybe with the intention of mocking others, but evidently it has hit home.

You may want to remember that elected representatives are there to, you know, represent their electorate, not "lead" the nation with the expectations they'll resolve your problem.
