Excessive control in the hands of Government really makes me paranoid sometimes.

But then I think that Governments have always been way, way, way more powerful than normal people. So this time it's nothing different. Maybe even better.

Government has been always powerful.

People have choice to choose during election that's all.

Isn't government made of people, if government is bad then people are bad.

I read this somewhere "People gets the government they deserve".
