Excessive control in the hands of Government really makes me paranoid sometimes.

But then I think that Governments have always been way, way, way more powerful than normal people. So this time it's nothing different. Maybe even better.

People are dumb. When someone blabs about wanting a small government he is saying that he wants an absolute monarchy or a dictatorship where people are kept out of the process of participating in the political affairs of their country.
