I’m confuse why people would think their government is spying on them. You’re actually not that interesting.

Imagine paying for the equipment, the upkeep, security and the salaries and pensions of a facility that monitors edgelord memes, niche pornography and predictable spending patterns.

It’s a misfiring ego at best.

There is no question that the US government and its partners in the 5 eyes spy on its citizens as well as the citizens of other nations.

It's unfortunate you have chosen to make light of this, hopefully you or anyone you care about won't be subjected to consequences for the dumb things you say, but hey, if so, you can just make jokes about it, amiright?

@WintaTheAngle The UK is part of the 5 eyes, so while what you say may be true, it could change at any time and you will be none the wiser. The UK has hate speech laws so you could run afoul of that at anytime for any reason...just because you feel safe now does not guarantee you will feel that way in the future.
