I almost always vote Libertarian. It's kind of a protest vote. This past elections protest vote went to Trump however. Facts as I see it, neither one are a very good choice. I'll go back to 3rd party next time.
@GerOttman Here's the thing, though. I know so many people who vote Libertarian as though it's some kind of non-party rebel option. The Libertarians have a very clear and defined agenda, much of which doesn't align with either party. As a Libertarians here, we lose the right to vote in primaries. As long as it's understood, I say vote your conscience.
@Graylight So obviously, I've had this conversation before. I vote for who I believe "represents" my views and beliefs. You know, like a Representative! It so happen that is most often Libertarian. It's not that I'm trying to ""waste"" a vote, that would be voting for someone who does not represent me as well as the candidate I vote for.
@GerOttman Oh, I get you. It's just not voting independently; it's voting under a thirds party with a freedom-resonant name. As long as the people who vote with them are cognizant, vive la différence.
@BlueGreenGrey sorry, but as explained above, I just vote for the person who represents my interests. your psyco-babble is irrelevant. the only protest vote I've ever cast was for Trump. (and it felt good)
