Podemos voted twice against investigating the police torturer who died the other day and blamed it on an error.

Some Podemos representatives were angry that he died with all of his medals and honors still intact even though Podemos had voted against releasing his full record and extraditing him. @Burnley123

It’s all a farce about nationalism. Brainwashing. Any sort of Catalan, Basque nationalism, pride or autonomy is a threat to the almighty Spanish empire.

Some don’t realize that is how dictators come to power. Others do realize that, which is why they support it. @Burnley123

@NenaRussa I am sure Podemos don't believe that BS, though its no excuse. They lost votes to PSOE when they took a sensible line on the Catalan independence struggle. It now looks like they are playing softball and appeasing Spanish nationalism because they are worried about losing support.

Aside from being immoral, accepting the frames of right-wing nationalism never works for the left. The nationalist people won't vote for you anyway and are also conceding the argument.
