I like Andrew Chang and this like most of his stuff is pretty fair.

I think he is missing somethings though. If you follow people in logistics and farming the US with this bullshit war in Iran is in a position where it needs diesel just to prevent food shortages at this point. Harvests have already dropped and trucking companies are having a harder and harder time being able to afford to get what is harvested to market.

Now Trump has two problems. He can't openly say "oops I accidentally caused a potential famine.

And Trump also says things publicly to try and manipulate markets in his favour.

So this is likely just going to go to making sure farmers and truckers can keep operating so the entire US diesel market doesn't really matter.

It also explains the smaller quantities.

If fuel sales from Russia are normalized again it also could save the economic collapse of countries like Germany that were built on cheap Russian oil products and is now collapsing now that they have to buy the same oil at 4 times the price through 3rd parties in India.

And the EU just basically promised Ukraine 100 billion dollars more they objectively don't have.

And as Andrew Chang points out this is not some sweetheart deal that just benefits Russia. They are selling it either way.
Sure is a GREAT deal for his ****censored**** buddy Putin, though…

@KunsanVeteran It will be impossible to follow the money but I'd bet a chunk of it ends up in the trump family coffers.,
