They are probably getting ready to decommission some 4G towers to make more room in their spectrum for 5G and you were one of the last luddites that hadn't "volunteered" to upgrade! 🤣🤣

@jshm2 It's actual 5G (shows NR in the phone stats). Low bars it's because the building shields it. Closer to the window I get 4 bars

They're not being generoud, they tossed the 4G infrastructure.

@Northwest Nah, not even 3G and the old UMTS have really been entirely phased out. 4G is definitely staying
