I actually see it as connected. The fact that all of these rich and powerful people in the Epstein Files aren't in prison now is because we have a society where the rich and powerful are above the law. If that's the case, if the rich are just naturally that much better, then why bother redistributing wealth? It goes back to the foundation of Conservatism, which is the idea that Capitalism should be used to maintain a strict hierarchy.

@BohoBabe and that's brilliant! There's a CONNECTION between abuse and inequality. That's the end. Nothing we can do.

@Roundandroundwego Yup, that's definitely what I said. 🙄

@BohoBabe no, you didn't say there's nothing we can do about conservatism. I did. Maybe I'm wrong, but nobody else ever once mentioned a thing we can do about that mindset. There's no future. No way to change the mindset because I alone know how. Me only. Taboo knives excised that knowledge from each and every other Western person.

@Roundandroundwego The history of America has been a history of moving away from Conservatism and towards equal rights and less inequality. It's not all going to change overnight, but there are absolutely things we can do to make society better. You can be sad, but don't be doomer.

@BohoBabe I think you killed MLK and that trajectory is not yours anymore.

@Roundandroundwego MLK died before I was born, but he knew I was coming, so he committed suicide.
