Hr practices honestly need to be re-evaluated in a bad economy

I'm seeing so many applications getting rejected as overqualified for a role.

You're getting extra skills at a discount, wtf are you doing lol

I ALWAYS hire over-qualified because to me there is no such thing. I find that often what is over-qualified on paper is mostly faked..........or blown out of proportion anyway. And besides who in their right mind would hire someone who self-describes ad barely qualified?
