Billionaires and immigrants/employers of immigrants, along with the media, welfare queens, small business owners, swampy government workers, big pharma, the oil companies, and hundreds of others are societal forces pushing their own interests, as are politicians, lobbyists and rabble rousers.

I'm all for getting caffeinated to wake up and see everything, but once we do, I dont think torches, pitchforks, or concentration camps are necessarily the best next step.

@MistyCee the left abhors violence so consistently that even Mussolini knew he'd have to invent some fake news about the reds to get Italians to attack them. It worked back then, unless you count the defeats of and injuries to the fascists by the Red Army in the ensuing years.

@Roundandroundwego Yup, scapegoating can be really effective as can disinformation, in the short run, for specific objectives. Long term, for everyone, is another story.
