In the market for a new home?

@Livingwell I truly wish people would learn more about the government and how it works. Me included. Maybe we’d be more selective with who we put in all areas of government, not just the President!

@Handfull1 Exactly. The President doesn't set fiscal policy, budgets (congress), border policy( homeland), control world gas prices (OPEC), stocks, or even go to war. He can try to influence but that's it.

@Livingwell The Fed is stuck in a situation of either monetizing the fiscal debt or watching the federal government crowd out the private sector thus causing stagflation and/or a recession. Biden is responsible for attacking the supply side of the economy via regulations thus indirectly contributing to the problem in that way as well.

This is less than a half truth. You know the president has enormous influence over every one of those policies.

@daydeeo Not with a Republican controlled house. Only congress can pass budgets. And they approve fiscal policies for military, education, etc in their committees.

@Livingwell And whose budget do they pass? The President's.

@daydeeo Read up on government. The house appropriations committee approves all budges foreign and domestic.
