@Dust057 It wasn’t a dream for John dear. The Bible says he was taken in the spirit and saw these things. But God has shown great things to people in dreams before tho…In the Bible and now.

@NoGamesTolerated I always interpreted “taken in the spirit” to mean he was whisked away to dreamland or a meditative state. But that’s the thing about what he and all the other authors of the Bible wrote over the years: it’s open to interpretation. From David’s poems in Psalms to the Revelations of John. I think many people choose to take literally what may have been meant poetically. John clearly has some criticisms (and accolades) of the various churches of the time.
“Takin in the spirit” could also mean he took in an excess of alcoholic spirits and had a drunken hallucination 😂 that would be ironic if people centuries later were following his recollections of a wild night as prophecy!

@Dust057 In the spirit is much deeper than a physical dream… it’s on a spiritual plane. The body doesn’t have to leave the room but the spirit can be taken wherever God chooses. John saw visions in the Spirit. He saw this very present world we live in, in the end days. He also saw heaven and what was taking place there.

This is what happens when people vote in a senile old crackpot who just keeps printing funny money and giving it away to other countries to fund the never ending wars overseas. How can you print money nonstop that doesn't even exist, give it away, and expect there to be zero repercussions? You just can't, that money has to come from somewhere. This is just gonna lead to socialism, which always leads to communism, and this country is gonna suffer the same fate as Cuba and Venezuela if this continues on. Thanks a lot, Joe Biden. Royally screwed up everything with this country. I'm not a huge Trump guy, but at least food and gas were affordable under him and at least people were able to live and support their families when he was in charge. China and Russia are laughing at us, our military is weak while theirs are very strong, and if we get invaded, we're 150% screwed. I have absolutely no faith in our military because our military does not even exist anymore. It's just an army of clowns. Man America is so screwed.

@DogMan Of course not. That wasn’t my point. My point is we will go down… and so will every other nation. Some think they will like what’s coming and some abhor it tooth and nail… but it is going to be one world government with horrific times ahead…
But those who belong to Christ and are keeping his word and obeying it, at some point will be raptured up to be with the Lord while Great Tribulation plays out.
