Joe Biden says that the US is not in recession.
Despite the fact that the US economy has shrunk for the last two quarters Biden says the US does not identify as being in recession therefore it is not in recession. His rationale being that if a man can become a woman by identifying as a woman and a woman can become a man by identifying as a man then an recessionary economy can be a growth economy if the president identifies it as such.
