What triggers hyperinflation?
The two primary causes of hyperinflation are (1) an increase in the money supply not supported by economic growth, which increases inflation, and (2) demand-pull inflation, in which demand outstrips supply.

A term I heard years ago in high school, "stagflation". Essentially when the economy stagnates, but the money keeps getting printed.

@pattycakechamp Do you mean copper is "UP" against the dollar? That generally means the dollar is weaker.
