The US is basically an Empire.
Empires fall. The Roman Empire didn't think it would fall. It did. The Ottoman Empire didn't think it would fall. It did.

The EU is starting to make alternative plans in defense due to Trump. The Chinese are steadily gaining economically and technologically.

The US relies, like any nation, on trade and international cooperation.

If you lot keeping p1ssing off everyone, people will retaliate, people will make alternative plans with trade, defense and investment.
