Hey,what's the big deal...? 🤔
She was only trying to get her share of diversity, equity and inclusion, after all.

I read about it in Newsweek.

https://www.newsweek.com/attorney-convicted-fraud-rolls-royce-1854390

But for some reason, the Paper of Record, the NY Times, seems not to have mentioned it.
I guess they didn't consider it news that was fit to print.
What percentage of the COVID relief funds were fraudulent? I bet 70 percent

Evidence is starting to surface, a lot of it
Yes, yes it is:

Medical experts say the data affirming ivermectin’s use for COVID-19 is insignificant compared to the amount indicating it’s useless. A previous review of 14 ivermectin studies concluded these studies were small and “few are considered high quality.” The researchers say they’re uncertain about the efficacy and safety of the drug and that “reliable evidence” doesn’t support using ivermectin for COVID-19 treatment outside of well-designed randomized trials. Meanwhile, a February 2023 review in Future Virology of some ivermectin-affirming studies explained that some used too-small pools of participants, were rushed, and ignored limitations around how ivermectin is absorbed in the body.

“It must be acknowledged that some of these studies were possibly intentionally designed to yield predetermined findings,” write the researchers.

the article also mentions a JAMA paper— I think this is it:

Not interested in the article itself, but in those studies it mentioned pointing to some of the most recent research being done.

As for the Gateway Pundit’s India claim from 17 May 2021:
ivermectin was included in India’s guideline as a possible treatment for mild COVID-19 as early as 28 April 2021. The daily number of COVID-19 cases started to decrease on 8 May 2021 after a sharp increase. However, the fact that event B occurs after event A isn’t enough to show that A caused B. Making this assumption without any further evidence is called the post hoc ergo propter hoc fallacy. In this case, Gateway Pundit didn’t provide evidence to prove that the inclusion of ivermectin in the guideline caused the decline in new cases. Therefore, their claim is unsubstantiated.
If ivermectin had an effect in curbing the spread of COVID-19, one might expect to only see limited contagion in countries that officially recommended this drug. Peru recommended ivermectin for mild COVID-19 as early as 8 May 2020. Official support for this drug also occurred in other countries in Latin America. However, these countries have experienced multiple waves of COVID-19 cases and deaths throughout 2020 and 2021 despite the ivermectin recommendation in place
