@Gloomy good thing you're not actually in charge of anything important, in real life.

@Peaceandnamaste Helping people in order to convert them to your religion in the process is no true help it is exploitation of vulnerable people

@Gloomy all religions are false. every society has some sort of supernatural belief system, usually intended to help keep the existing elites in power. replacing one supernatural belief system with another may seem arbitrary and cruel. however, if the conquerors have more technology and and written communication than those worshipping some forest or river god, then indigenous people who pledge fealty to the new system are probably going to enjoy an upgrade in living standards.

@SusanInFlorida Oh no you're attacking Indigenous spiritual philosophy and their connection to nature?

More democratic and progressive than Christianity.

@SusanInFlorida Not all religious philosophies require the worship of a creator god. Some spiritual philosophies focuses on experiences more than beliefs and faith, Certain Hindu and Buddhist philosophies focus on experience and seeking more than believing and faith. Buddhism and Jainism doesn't have a creator God in their philosophies or religion. A true spiritual person would be more of a seeker than a believer. Some Hindu/pagan and other spiritual philosophical sects view the gods as symbolic archetypes of the Universe and the forces of nature. Mythology is full of archetypes, Symbologies and metaphors to explain the forces of the universe and nature.
@SusanInFlorida Replacing an indigenous religion that developed organically with an externally imposed one will always be destructive.
