Praising Communism While Enjoying All the Benefits of Living Under Capitalism

I've never understood why so many who like to praise communism don't just pack up their stuff (which they wouldn't have if they lived under a communist regime) and move to a communist country. You're free to leave, you know. No one is keeping you in, for example, England, Germany or Canada.
That being the case, why are you still here? If capitalism is so bad, so "oppressive", "racist" and all that other jazz, then GO!
Go on! Leave! Move to China. I'll even buy your plane ticket (one-way of course)! 😊

I think a lot of people who are for those ideas just in heart of hearts want things to be better, or see the inherent flaws of the current system. I'm personally in favour of a balance between capitalism and socialism as I think it needs an element of collective accountability.

For example no one person should be a billionaire while entire areas of a country are poor. To be a society we have to think and act like one to a degree. No company should extort and profit from everyday people in a crisis (eg. Energy companies and oil). What good are our societies if we structurally allow such things to happen?.

So the gubmint, which creates nothing and only takes, is more deserving of the wealth than they/she/he who earned it?

@SW-User if you have to create an extreme hypothetical example to debate something that actually happens it's not a good argument is it.
SW-User
@Ryannnnnn No, it's exactly what you are spewing.

Unless you are going to exempt the ones who created the wealth

@SW-User so people living in poor areas just take?. They don't work?. No single person needs a million million dollars buddy, communities and schools do.
Ryannnnnn · 31-35, M
@SW-User I dunno maybe you're okay with that 🤷

@Ryannnnnn With not stealing yes. Obviously you aren't

@SW-User lol tax is stealing is it? Voluntary charity is stealing is it?.

Sorry do I not match the caricature in your head
SW-User
@Ryannnnnn You want to arbitrarily destroy the wealth of those you don't like. Sounds like thievery to me.

I got a novel suggestion - go out and earn your own wealth

@SW-User I don't like?. You're saying that buddy. You're having an argument with a cartoon in your own head.

I do bud lol
