Why are so many in my age bracket complete and utter fools? Idiotic statements such as the OP make my generation look ignorant, lazy and gullible. It's embarrassing! 😳🤦‍♀️
Guitarman123 · 31-35, M
@SlaveEt that "lazy" trope has existed for decades and constantly being proven wrong
Gloomy · F
@SlaveEt Communism is born out of the workers movement how can this silly "lazy" slander still be in use.

Do construction workers not work hard enough to buy themselves nice mansions or other luxury goods cause people like Musk must work soo much harder then
DogMan · 61-69, M
@Gloomy So do you think everyone would work as hard as you under socialism?

That is not human nature? Some people work much harder than others when they
can capitalize on their hard work. But if that person makes the same as you do,
they will not work to their full potential. I know, I know, you will pretend that they
will, But that will not be what happens. You will have far less wealthy people, and
far more poor people. That will only make the poor people happy. I believe that
is why poor people want it.
Guitarman123 · 31-35, M
@DogMan we advocate for socialism as it puts people above profit
DogMan · 61-69, M
@Guitarman123 It only helps the poor, and underachievers. And brings the masses down to their level. I know why you want it. Nuff said.
Guitarman123 · 31-35, M
@DogMan I want workers to own the means of production and not be exploited by greedy capitalists
DogMan · 61-69, M
@SlaveEt Well we are happy that you get it.
The only people that want socialism/communism are the poor,
and the underachievers. They are also the ones that hate capitalism,
and rich people in general.
They do not have the ambition required to be successful,
they need someone else to pick up their slack. They need more
of your money, and my money.
Guitarman123 · 31-35, M
@DogMan it's working people that want socialism is the current system exploits their labour power so the capitalists gain surplus value and keeps the workers at subsistence level earnings.
DogMan · 61-69, M
@Guitarman123 No, only the poor, and under achievers want it.
Guitarman123 · 31-35, M
@DogMan no, it's a working class ideal and always has been
Guitarman123 · 31-35, M
@DogMan most working class people are poor because their bosses don't pay them well enough
DogMan · 61-69, M
@Guitarman123 Yeah, I know, I was one of them back in the 70's and early 80's.

Thankfully I had a ton of ambition. Now I can comfortably retire at 64, and never
have to worry about money, I did it despite a felony conviction and no college degree.

Was it easy? No, but I did it. There is a recipe for success.
Guitarman123 · 31-35, M
@DogMan as long as your alright Jack
Guitarman123 · 31-35, M
@DogMan so America dosent let former convicts vote but does allow them to run businesses? Weird
DogMan · 61-69, M
@Guitarman123 They made changes, I can vote now. And why would someone that paid
their dues, not be allowed to have a business? THAT! would be weird. I dealt drugs
40 years ago. I was never dishonest, or dishonorable.
Guitarman123 · 31-35, M
@DogMan yet 4.6 million ex convicts still can't vote. I'm not saying you shouldn't have that right, it's americas system that's fucked by having the largest prison population in the world and 40 per cent of that population is black.
DogMan · 61-69, M
@Guitarman123 They can all vote when they get out. Yes, we have a lot of bad people
in the U.S. a lot of good people too. This is why good people want to keep their guns.
Guitarman123 · 31-35, M
@DogMan not the 4.6 million, they are unable to vote because of their record. No, people keep guns because of nationalist propaganda and consider guns more important than kids
