@val70 You might know socialists, anarchists, and communists but you clearly missed the entire point along with basic terminology. And changing the subject with random historical events don't change that.

Democratic socialists, anarchists, and Marxists are all different approaches to accomplishing the same thing. That thing is communism which is a stateless, moneyless society.

All three camps only exist over squabbles over how to accomplish it.

Withering away of the state is a Marxist concept coined by Friedrich Engels referring to the idea that, with the realization of socialism, the state will eventually become obsolete and cease to exist as society will be able to govern itself without the state and its coercive enforcement of the law. Communism never, never, I repeat again, never realised it. Mostly because it can't, and that was proven by the anarchists in Spain alright. But cheers for student fun, lad :-)

Anarchists do not believe in necessity of states and governments, but in a communist state ( see there it is ) all resources would be owned by the government or state ( yes, sorry no real governance without that ). Just ask the people who were in the gulags. Oh yes, there's a really good book on that. I suggest you read it :-)
