It depends on what you mean by sovereign countries.

@Sayana He's not much of a businessman either, but that's beside the point.
India's exports to the US represent 35% of its pharmaceutical industry. The US imports about $175B worth of pharmaceutical products. $10.5B of that comes from India, or 6%.
Trump is trying to make that a huge issue, but he needs to deal with the other 94%, which makes this a much bigger problem for India, not the USA, in terms of who's holding the cards.

@Northwest I Can tell you one thing very Clearly, " USA can't be FRIEND of any country " ...Either you are an Ally of US, or you are an enemy of US "
Now, first when CHINA was rising in 1990's then USA did everything to prevent its Progress and Now, USA wants to weaken Indian's progress.
So China Knew it better than the Indians Know.
USA wants : A Strong India to counter China
USA wants : A weaker India who do what US tells to do

@Sayana Not sure what you're going for here, but you should try to get real data/facts, because using your prejudices gives you opinions, not facts. And you would often be wrong.
China's rise in the 1990s, was thanks to the US and the US economy, not despite it. That meant a semi-democracy, setting aside dictatorship. Xi Jinping decided to do away with that.

The Penguins are still giving him the finger.

@Thevy29 Every Kingdom had it's rise and fall in the history, US is not an exception so it's fall is inevitable but the way Trump behaving, it will lead US fall more rapidly.
Once BRICS started trading in own currency, this will put an end to " Dollar's dominance and ultimately declining in the Influence of US
I think, By Now, China + Russia + India + Brazil have made their mindset for it.
